How Bioelectric® manufacturing works
Anodyne serves manufacturers across industries where performance, purity, and sustainability are non-negotiable—bringing decarbonized chemistry to every segment we touch.
Anodyne's Bioelectric® process runs entirely in water. Renewable electricity drives an electrochemical cell in which our immobilized Anozyme® enzymes and metal catalysts convert CO₂ into formate, which we supply as formate salts and formic acid. The same catalyst platform produces specialty aldehydes and alcohols. Because the chemistry takes place in the liquid phase rather than at a gas-diffusion electrode, it works differently from conventional CO₂ electrolysis.
Deployment Made Faster
Modular, deployable chemical plants
Say hello to production trains deployed in weeks instead of years. Retrofitting existing facilities and operating within existing land use permits enables Anodyne to deploy faster with standardized, modular skids.

Chemical Manufacturing Made Clean
Replacing fossil fuels with renewable electricity
Anodyne's Bioelectric® process replaces fossil-fuel-derived heat and reducing agents with clean electricity, dramatically cutting the carbon intensity of chemical production while maintaining or improving yields.
Biomanufacturing Made Simple
Cell-free, electrified biomanufacturing
Say goodbye to microbes in steel tanks. Anozymes® are designed to perform chemical transformations outside living cells—enabling faster reaction times, lower energy consumption, and seamless scale-up from lab to commercial production.
