By visiting our site, purchasing from our store, or using our services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service ("Terms"). Eligibility & Account Use

Account Information: You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases and to promptly update your details (including email address and payment details) so we can complete your transactions.

Chemical Sales, Inteded Use & Safety Compliance

Restricted Use: All chemicals sold on this Site are intended strictly for research, laboratory, industrial, or manufacturing use only, unless explicitly labeled otherwise.
Prohibited Uses: Products are not intended for personal, household, food, drug, medical, cosmetic, or direct human/animal consumption. You agree not to misuse, repackage, or resell chemicals in violation of applicable laws.
Safety & Handling: Chemical products may pose physical, environmental, or health hazards. The Buyer assumes full responsibility for:
- Reviewing and adhering to the relevant Safety Data Sheet (SDS) prior to use.
- Ensuring proper personal protective equipment (PPE), safety protocols, and facility requirements are utilized.
- Complying with all relevant environmental, transport, and hazardous material storage regulations.

Chemical Disposal: The Buyer assumes all responsibility for the safe and legal disposal of chemicals and containers in compliance with applicable environmental laws.

Account Verification & Order Screening

We reserve the right to request proof of identity, business registration, license documentation, or verification of intended end-use before processing or fulfilling any order.
We reserve the right to refuse service, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person or per order, or terminate accounts at our sole discretion. This includes orders that appear to pose a safety risk, violate regulatory standards, or appear to be placed by unauthorized resellers.

Pricing, Payment Processing & Third-Party Gateways

Pricing & Currency: All prices are listed in Canadian dollars and are subject to change without notice. Taxes, hazardous material handling fees, and shipping costs are calculated at checkout and are the responsibility of the Buyer.
Third-Party Payment Services: Payment processing for orders placed on our Site is facilitated through third-party payment gateways and third-party merchant processors, including Authorize.net (payment gateway) and Payment Cloud (third-party merchant processor). By submitting an order, you authorize us and our third-party payment
processors to charge your designated payment method for the total amount of your purchase.
Cardholder Data & Encryption: All financial transactions are transmitted using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption technology directly to our third-party processors. We do not receive, process, store, or maintain full credit card numbers, CVV codes, or sensitive cardholder data on our servers or within our Shopify platform.
Processor Screening & Holds: Due to the regulated nature of our products, orders processed through our payment gateways are subject to automated and manual fraud screening, Address Verification Service (AVS) checks, Card Verification Value (CVV) matching, and end-use account verification. We reserve the right to place a temporary hold on, decline, or cancel any transaction flagged by our payment processors as potential fraud, unauthorized activity, or regulatory non-compliance.
Processor Terms & Disclaimers: Payment processing services are subject to the terms, conditions, and privacy policies of Authorize.net and Payment Cloud, respectively. We make no warranties regarding the uptime or uninterrupted service of third-party payment gateways and shall not be liable for any transaction delays, processing errors, bank holds, or chargeback fees initiated by your card issuer or payment processors.
Service Modifications: We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any product or service without notice at any time and shall not be liable to you or any third party for any price change, suspension, or discontinuance.

Shipping, Hazardous Materials & Delivery

Dangerous Goods: Anodyne Chemistries strictly adheres to all Canadian federal, provincial, and territorial laws governing the transport of regulated materials. All shipments containing regulated or hazardous products are processed, packaged, marked, and documented in full compliance with Transport Canada’s Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Regulations.
Delivery Limitations: Chemical shipments are subject to carrier restrictions, hazardous material regulations, and geographic limitations. We cannot ship certain chemicals to P.O. Boxes or restricted territories.
Title & Loss: Title and risk of loss pass to the Buyer upon delivery to the carrier.
Receiving & Inspection: The Buyer is responsible for inspecting packages upon delivery for damage, leaks, or missing items and reporting issues immediately to both the carrier and our customer support team.

Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

Return Policy: Due to the hazardous, sensitive and regulated nature of chemical products, all sales are final once an order has been shipped. Products are not eligible for return, exchange or refund due to change of mind, ordering errors, incompatibility, or other reasons not caused by us.
Authorized Returns: Returns will only be considered where an incorrect product, quantity, or other nonconforming product was supplied due to our error. Any returns must be approved by us before the product is returned.
Unauthorized and Non-Returnable Products: Unauthorized returns will not be accepted or credited. Opened, used, tampered with, improperly handled, hazardous, regulated, custom, or special-order products are non-returnable, except where required by applicable law
Cancellations: Orders may only be cancelled before shipment and with our prior approval. Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled, returned, or refunded except where the issue results from our error.

We may provide access to optional third-party tools or web links over which we monitor no control. Such tools and links are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties or endorsements.
