Anodyne Appoints Bridie Barrett and John Nicols to Board of Directors

Anodyne today announced that its Board of Directors has appointed two new independent directors, Bridie Barrett and John Nicols.

Ms. Barrett has had an extensive career in investment banking and currently serves as a Partner at Brunswick Group, a global advisory firm. Mr. Nicols is the former president and CEO of Codexis, where he led the growth and transformation of Codexis into one of the leading synthetic biology companies.

“Bridie and John distinguished themselves during our search with their business expertise spanning commercial strategy, brand and product development, operations, supply chain, and finance,” said Iain Evans, Chief Executive. “Their strengths will further enhance our Board, support the execution of our strategy and help propel Anodyne toward its future vision.”

Commenting on her appointment, Ms. Barrett said: “I am very excited to work with Anodyne as they bring decarbonized alternatives to industries that desperately need competitively priced low-carbon chemicals. With the addition of Ms. Barrett and Mr. Nicols, the Board now has five members including two new independent directors.
